AlascA return with layered indie-folk brilliance on "Ophelia"

After a five-year hiatus, Dutch indie-folk band AlascA returns with their infectious new single, "Ophelia", and even though they've had a few years off, their Spotify page is filled with so many gems – with this song showcasing why they've got over 400k streams!

... a romantic, jangly folk-pop gem showcasing timeless indie charm.

The track has a straight-up romantic folk-pop melody mixed in with some jangly folk-tinted guitar sounds that remind me of The Cranberries and Of Monsters and Men. I adored the sliding guitar in the bridges, and the male and female vocals intertwining against one another were a key reason why we loved this on the first play.

With BBC Radio airplay and international acclaim, the band are back and are better than ever, so if you are looking for some timeless upbeat folk-tinged indie-pop then get on board before everyone else does!
