Based out of London is Lazyboysadgirl, and not too long ago, the act unveiled their atmospheric new single, "Floating".
... dreamy guitars and lo-fi charm, an ethereal bedroom pop gem you’ll want on repeat.
Not at all pun-intended, but the track is very light, airy and hazy (floating dream-pop perhaps), and the vocals on this really set it above many other tracks in the dream-pop genre I've listened to recently.
"Floatin" sits perfectly on the border of psych-pop, bedroom-pop and dream-pop, with electronically-charged vocals giving it even more depth. The synths and percussion on this are amazing, and at points even sound like one of the newest tracks that Grimes has been working on.
The cosiness of the track can't be ignored, so stick on your best headphones and get lost in "Floating", we have an exciting new voice in the scene.
