Hailing from Minneapolis is TONEai, and the outfit has recently unveiled their honest new single, "Americans". The project is the brainchild of Tony Ortiz, producer Steve Shepard with some delightful guitar work from Ryan Smith of Soul Asylum.

Of course the city where they're located hasn''t exactly has the best of news coming out of it as late, and teh song to me at least feels like a reflection of that. The song blends classic rock polish with contemporary urgency, exploring themes of unity, truth, and resilience - which is something they all need to be doing right now in their country.
Even though there are some AOR sounds it's got quite a universally likeable jangle that you'll be sure to get hooked onto. Very upnbeat in the choruses with some great licks of guitar and backing vocals, it's 110% 'American' and sounds like a rallying song more than anything, so get stuck in!
