Coming out of Burry Port in Wales is Brook Fox, and the artist's new EP is a four-track strong release filled with upbeat indie rock gems that sound like they are destined to be performed on the biggest stage at Reading and Leeds Festival. ... a confident, festival-ready indie rock EP from Brook Fox blending nostalgic hooks, cinematic moments, and modern guitar-driven energy. The opening cut, "Together", reminds me a lot of Vampire Weekend and Two Door Cinema Club, with the intro giving me massive throwbacks to the late 2000s music scene. The second track on the release is titled "Rome", and this, for me, is a great example of what he is all about. It's got a slow-burning intro and then erupts into a solid indie rock anthem just after the one-minute mark. Coming out of New York is the brilliant and stunning SAMSARA., and the band have recently dropped their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP". The guitar sounds on "IN TOO DEEP" are so infectious, a blend of post-punk and alt-rock with the perfect amount of fuzz to give it more depth. Vocally strong too, you have to admire this emerging band for the smooth vocal approach to the track and its clean melodies.
