The track opens up with a rather 80s rock tune sound, perhaps something you'd feel like was scored for a blockbuster movie. What it does is it builds the track up right before the drum kick comes in at the 20-second mark, and at that point, you can really feel the blend of genres. ... a bold, genre-blending debut that fuses rock and drum & bass into a cinematic late-night rush. The high-octane German bass percussion is mixed perfectly with this clean rock tune, and as soon as the vocals come in, it reminds me a lot of the Black Keys in places, with its somewhat Americana vibe to it.
