Soul music seems to be on the rise again, with Lianne La Havas recently flying the flag after being nominated for a Mercury Prize Award, and by the sounds of things Rita Satch is on course to do similar things. A jazz and soul prodigy from a young age, Rita grew up loving and singing the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles and Nina Simone, and you can clearly hear that in her new single "Not Ready For Love" - you can watch the video for it below.
She's performed at Glastonbury this year, with Triple J and NBC in Australia flying the flag for her it'll soon be time for Rita to shine. The track is lifted from her new EP which is out August 10th.
