Mew unveil colourful, weird and wonderful video for "The Night Believer"

Glacial Danish alternative rockers release the video for new single 'The Night Believer', taken from their latest album '+-' (Plus Minus).

The video was conceived by Lianne Pierce, who also worked on the Pixies' animated video for ‘Bagboy’, and stop-motion animator Will Hodge, responsible for Wes Anderson's acclaimed take on children's book "Fantastic Mr. Fox". The result is a race between a variety of critters and a towering, hungry robot, all tangled in a myriad of colour and accompanied by the cheery tune of ‘The Night Believer.’

The childish and kaleidoscopic colour and imagery suit the uncharacteristically upbeat tune from the oft times melodramatic Scandinavians. Although a well established player in the arty alternative rock scene with nothing to prove, by still delivering crisp gems such as 'The Night Believer', Mew continue to set the benchmark at which similar up and coming acts must aspire to.
