Rosellas release their first single of the year, "Damaged"

"Damaged" is the first release from the Manchester based quintet of 2021, with the release following on from a big 2020 that saw them release an EP titled "Back in the Room" and a single "Born Under the Cloud, with the latter having three tracks in the release.

I swear this is a band waiting to be signed by someone big, judging by the quality of their work it'll be no time before they're signed.

The band takes their inspiration from a collective of Manchester's finest, such as Oasis and The Smiths, as well as Sam Fender.

You really can hear Sam Fender's influence on the band with the guitar work throughout, especially in the chorus. There's also a lovely flavour of their accent remaining in the cut, giving us a sense that this could've easily been a track written by The Courteeners.

With the newcomers not having a manager or a label, they've done tremendously well so far to achieve well over 50,000 streams on Spotify, with most of it coming in the past year thanks to their "Born Under the Cloud" release.

With 21 songs released onto the streaming platform, there's no doubt that this isn't just the band releasing their tunes, it's a portfolio of what the band can do. You can hear a wide range of tracks on Spotify and can easily last you all day listening to it all. I swear this is a band waiting to be signed by someone big, judging by the quality of their work it'll be no time before they're signed.
