London based singer-songwriter Drew Thomas has today released his brilliant new single "Vultures". Coming in at under three minutes what we have on our hands is a track that sounds ready-made for the BBC Radio 1 Indie Show and Radio X.
It's energetic and full of hooks, simply put it's a tune we will happily play on repeat.
There's plenty of vocal hooks and lyrics that'll get you hooked, it sounds like it's effortless for Drew as his vocals never sound too stretched, yet there's plenty of anthemic elements to get our juices flowing.
The chorus sounds like it's been written with festivals in mind (and with the UK opening up live music soon I feel like this could help soundtrack the summer).
It's energetic and full of hooks, simply put it's a tune we will happily play on repeat. With the sone being produced by Nat Webb (The Struts), there's no wonder why he's already got attention from BBC Introducing, Sofar Sounds and many more online zines such as our own. With an EP that's gained well over 100k plays on Spotify this song will also be up there with those stats in no time.
