Timmy The Boy returns with new single "Never Enough"

Hailing from a little-known city in Ohio, Timmy The Boy today returns with his new baggy influenced single "Never Enough". This is his first tune to be released this year following from the upbeat 2020 cut "Noni", and it really sounds like he's stepped up his game.
With his previous efforts leaning more towards the hip-hop end of the alternative scene this one leans more towards the alt-pop end, and if he continues to drop tunes like this I'm sure he'll be gaining lots more fans in the coming months.

The intro is bathed in glorious dreamy guitar lines and airy synths giving it a fresh and atmospheric vibe, but before they lul you in the track switches itself up. We've now got some baggy elements you'd expect to find in some Happy Mondays or music The Stone Roses, it really does sound like Timmy has been influenced by the mid 90's British pop scene.

Speaking about the new release he mentions - "The song is a dive into the mindset of most males, including myself. It seems that no matter how much I try, it is never enough. I could give the world to a girl and they want to burn it. So, I took that raw emotion and put it into a song."

His rasping vocal is heard throughout and has plenty of emotions behind his vocal projection. It really is no wonder that he's already performed at several festivals in his local area (pre-covid) and has got a tight-knit fanbase already. With his previous efforts leaning more towards the hip-hop end of the alternative scene this one leans more towards the alt-pop end, and if he continues to drop tunes like this I'm sure he'll be gaining lots more fans in the coming months.
