Sam Gifford releases emphatic new track, "Run the Red Light"

Hailing from Stotfold in Bedfordshire, Sam Gifford has recently released his emphatic new single "Run the Red Light".

Right as the song kicks off we have a vibrant body of music to sink our teeth into, some high guitar tones that remind us of Editors and Catfish and the Bottlemen. The track evolves with his soft and warming vocals leading the way before an atmospheric chorus effectively wraps it all up, solidifying within the first 100 seconds that this is a song we will have on repeat all year!

Speaking about the new tune Sam mentions " ... "Run the Red Light" is a song about the things that hold us back. Some of us stop for fear, some of us stop for doubt and some of us stop before uncertainty. Like waiting at traffic lights, many of us wait before these obstacles until the signals change."

Gifford has already got himself some attention from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, both champion up-and-coming artists, which by the sounds of it Sam is most certainly one of. It's an emphatic and vibrant track that most certainly warrants a listen (but caution, once you do you'll be looping it for days!).
