Macajey shares dreamy new single, "Today's The Day"

Flying the flag for Estonia in the indie scene worldwide is Macajey, and today marks the release of his dreamy new shingle, "Today's The Day". The new offering acts as his third of the year - which came off the back of his debut album back in 2020.

The new single also is the last to be released before Macajey heads over to Asia to play a string of six shows in South Korea and Japan - hitting up the likes of Seoul and Tokyo amongst others.

The track is the type that'll win anyone over who's looking for atmospheric pop, and I'm sure he's going to smash it while on tour in Asia.

"Today's The Day" is classic Macajey as it's just so dreamy right from the get-go, laced with hazy vocals and glorious production the new single is quite possibly the strongest he's ever released.

In the chorus there is some strong Tame Impala vibes with the song getting to psychedelia in places with his hazy and echoed vocals being laid on top of some reverbed tones. The track is the type that'll win anyone over who's looking for atmospheric pop, and I'm sure he's going to smash it while on tour in Asia.

If you'd like to listen to more from Macajey then it's good news, he's got plenty more where this came from on Spotify - so delve in!
