The Lowtones unveils frantic new single, "Radio"

Norwich-based The Lowtones have returned with their first single the release of their debut EP back in 2022. The successful release saw them get played on BBC Introducing in East Anglia and even performing at the rather splendid festival Wildpaths Festival in their hometown.

"Radio" is just over three minutes of pure indie-rock with enough hooks to drag any listener in.

"Radio" is a frantic affair that gives me strong vibes of Interpol, especially with the quick-paced drumming and chunky guitar tones. Vocally it's very well-driven with tones that will capture anyone who listened to indie-rock in the mid-2000s within seconds.

The single is a bold and strong new outing from the rising Norfolk-based quartet, with songs like this it won't be long before their music will see them touring all over the country.

What's best is that the foursome has plenty more music coming out - as we've been told by the band themselves, so strap in for more bangers!
