Coming out of the Copenhagen music scene is The Forever Now, and today sees them share their nostalgic new tune, "Grounded Satellites". The single is their first release since 2022's "Lover's City" and is a big song that offers the listener plenty of electronic and synth noises.
... if you're a fan of the likes of MGMT, Klaxons, Passion Pit, and M83 then you'll love the sounds heard within "Grounded Satellites".
One thing is mightly obvious from the start, the track has this late 2000s synth-pop feel about it, and if you're a fan of the likes of MGMT, Klaxons, Passion Pit, and M83 then you'll love the sounds heard within "Grounded Satellites".
the pace of the song is wonderful, with a great intro that almost teases you before bursting into life with a thick-as-syrup bassline and synth combo. Vocally it's dreamy, of course it is, and is on the deeper side but what this does is introduce a slightly darker side to this anthemic slice of synth-pop.
With a string of releases going back to 2016 it's very clear that The Forever Now is highly consistent, and if you like what you hear be sure to dip into their older tunes on Spotify!
