Danny Suede shares the sun-kissed new tune, "shadows on the pavement"

Bursting out from Spokane, United States, is Danny Suede, who has recently released his new track titled "shadows on the pavement". The new offering from the American singer-songwriter has already shot to the top of his most popular songs on Spotify, and I can easily tell why from the very first minute. ... a shimmering, uplifting slice of bedroom pop that feels made for sunny days. The opening sequence of the song is a delicate balance of acoustic guitar mixed with his serene vocals and a dash of electronic pulses just to get you all warmed up. For me, the fusion of bedroom pop and alternative pop sounds reminded me of an early Ed Sheeran as he was about to take over the British music scene. With that in mind, it sounds like Danny is also going in that direction. Interpol reveal video for "The Rover"

Interpol have released the video to powerhouse new single ‘The Rover", taken from forthcoming Dave Fridmann-produced new album "Marauder", which is released August 24th via Matador. The video was shot on-location in Mexico City in June, during a whirlwind journey where Interpol announced their new album via a live-streamed press conference. Paul Banks says: " I like to describe the video for "The Rover" as a prequel. It’s the origin story of the character described in the song, the birth of a cult leader. When we meet him he is partly unhinged. He’s a man on the verge, an artist subjected to great pressures, and beset with existential frustrations. [ALBUM REVIEW] Daughter - Not To Disappear

January may be the bleakest part of the year: full of post-Christmas dejection, wet and windy weather, sometimes snow and ice, and in 2016, the devastating loss of some of the world’s most innovative geniuses. With the bleak days of winter in mind, many would argue that it is the perfect month for a Daughter resurgence. Debut If You Leave went hand-in-hand with a permeating dark, fragile, and ghostly nature about the arrangements. However, despite the obvious continuation of the underlying sense of sadness, the subtlety and serenity of the first album is not brought through to 2016. Titled "SUMMER LIGHT", it feels like one of those unapologetically nostalgic electro bangers that is destined for those vibrant and upbeat playlists of yours. ... an addictively vibrant, Avicii-esque electro-pop banger designed to instantly lift your spirits and cure the morning blues. Hailing from Haugesund, Norway, is Mainstreet, and they are back with their brand-new single, "Living by the Sword". ... a highway-ready, 80s-inspired soft-rock anthem dripping with heartland charm and Springsteen-level warmth. Having come out on the Friday just gone, this new song delivers a real, authentic 1980s hook with plenty of vibes that seem like they were perfectly designed for your road-tripping needs. Dublin-based project Gravité Fresq is back with their new dark pop single, "Hypocrisy Loop". It is absolutely stunning, with nostalgic synthwave moments that remind me of the 1980s scene, and even the production values on this sound rather analogue in places, giving it that extra nostalgic bite. ... Gravité Fresq channel the analogue glow of the 1980s into an addictive slice of dark pop. I also loved the vocals on this, reminding me a lot of Pet Shop Boys in places, but with even more direct tones. The groove and drumbeat on this is really addictive, and it shows that this band is steering their way into many more people's heads. With now seven tracks out in the world, this act is certainly on fire with the content that they are dropping.
