Goodbye My Darling: The track starts off with a synth line, a bit strange considering that Sam is a folk artist, however it creates another level for the listener to ponder over. With aboriginal digarey-doo sounds and even more intricate noises coming forth, such as violins, the acoustic guitar and his haunting vocals. Hailing from DeLand, Florida, solo artist JP2 completely redefines independent rock with his audacious new single, "Enter Sandman". The cover of Metallica's standout song is quite the piece, with a slightly brighter tone, which leans more towards the alt-rock and indie rock genres. ... a bold reimagining of a metal classic that transforms "Enter Sandman" into an indie-rock anthem. Yes, the vocals are still as dark as the original, with the main guitar also being very deep, but the overall feel of this track is fantastic and can easily hold a candle to the original. It does feel like it's been taken up a semitone or two, especially with the chorus feeling more like a track you'd hear at Reading and Leeds Festival or even Glastonbury, for that matter. Alternative rock five-piece Nothing But Thieves have been conquering the music scene this year.
