Album Review... Zeus - Bursting Visions

What do Feist, Los Campesinos! and Bloc Party all have in common? They've all had a release via the Arts & Crafts label, and today we bring you a review of yet another amazing album to be released on the label. 'Zeus' have today released their album 'Bursting Visions', it's an 70's-Rock-Revival record that brings back so many happy memories for anyone listening.

They open up with a stunner with 'Are You Gonna Waste My Time', a simplistic sing-along chorus is helped with some amazing guitars in the background bringing back that good old 70's feel, but in a fresh way! The next two songs are both lovefilled ballads. The album works it's way through to the stunning song 'Strong Mind', the song seems to be the centre-piece of the throwback album, with some lovely little noises going on in the background and crisp vocals paving it's way into our memories.

'Messengers Way' and 'Proud and Beautiful' compliment each other so well, and this then sets you up for the finale, 'Now That I've Got You' sounds like Queen themselves wrote the song, the piano, the vocals and the sheer talent involved with crafting the song. This album will go down as a hit in my eyes. Something really to reminisce in! You can download 'Are You Gonna Waste My Time?' at the bottom of the post to get a real feel of the album!
