Back in July, we picked up on Emily Ricks and her track, "Call It Falling", we mentioned in that article that it's just a matter of time before Spotify editorials pick it up and she will become viral, fast-forward to now and that track has over 100k plays with a Spotify editorial picking up on it!

With that, we head into the new track with buckets of optimism, and from the intro alone we knew that this was going to be more of the same swagger-filled vocals laid upon some strong indie sounds.
Again this track acts as a vehicle for Emily's vocals and showcases her range, possibly even more than the previous cut. The chorus gives you a chance to hear her lighter snarls and powerful moments with myself feeling almost like she was channelling her inner Shakira! (Now I've said to watch her support her on tour.)
The second most important thing after releasing good music is the ability to follow it up with even more great sounds, and that's what Emily Ricks has done. She's certainly rising and won't be long before more ears are wrapped around her sounds.
