Danny Suede shares the sun-kissed new tune, "shadows on the pavement"

Bursting out from Spokane, United States, is Danny Suede, who has recently released his new track titled "shadows on the pavement". The new offering from the American singer-songwriter has already shot to the top of his most popular songs on Spotify, and I can easily tell why from the very first minute. ... a shimmering, uplifting slice of bedroom pop that feels made for sunny days. The opening sequence of the song is a delicate balance of acoustic guitar mixed with his serene vocals and a dash of electronic pulses just to get you all warmed up. For me, the fusion of bedroom pop and alternative pop sounds reminded me of an early Ed Sheeran as he was about to take over the British music scene. With that in mind, it sounds like Danny is also going in that direction. JF Roy reveals the inspiring new single, "The Morning Light"

Coming out of Fort McMurray in Canada is the Christian rock artist JF Roy. The new single is his third of the year, and this singer-songwriter is the kind of artist that gets tens of thousands of plays on his music. It sounds like this track could be his biggest hit to date. ... an inspiring and uplifting alt-rock anthem blending 90s-tinged guitars, crunching basslines, and bright, hopeful pop sensibilities. It is a very upbeat offering with a bright intro, delightfully upbeat guitars, and, of course, his stunning vocal tones paving the way. I really did like the crunching bass on this one, mixed with the sprightly guitar sounds and tight percussion. His vocals are stunning, and when it hits the chorus for the first time, it comes into this inspiring anthem. Martin Kuiper drops his strong new album, "Prison Of Modesty"

Hailing from Ruurlo, Netherlands, singer-songwriter Martin Kuiper delivers a captivating blend of '90s alt-rock and grunge on his album "Prison Of Modesty".We previously had Martin on our website before, but today is an exciting day as this sees his new album finally land. The album is comprised of 10 tracks, of which seven were previously released. We are going to focus on some of the tracks that are new here—or at least new to us. I can't help but praise the opening track, "Still I Promise", as this is a fantastic gateway song to his sound, with plenty of Beach Boys-styled backing vocals laced upon a rather indie-rock-driven track, almost beckoning you into the 10-track album. Ryan Thomas Smelle releases new single, "Shame Shame"

2022 saw Ryan Thomas Smelle release his debut album "In The Homestretch" to great success, and the latest single to be given the single treatment is track 13 - lucky for some - "Shame Shame". Coming at a perfect two minutes flat the single is wrapped with warmth, as you might be able to tell from his vocal tones. In-fact it's Ryan's vocals that are the prominent feature here as you can hear the tenderness in his voice, with a slight quiver to give it that raw and emotive feel. "Shame Shame" is honest, emotive and raw - just stunning. Instrumentally it's rather simple, clean and crisp acoustic guitars helps to push the folk tones home and will ultimately leaving you wanting more. Hailing from Lewisham in South London, England, 2nd Magpie Project has today delivered an expansive and dreamy new single titled "Divine Intervention." If you like your shoegazy sounds mixed with strong and powerful vocals, then this is something that you'll love from the first play. ... a cinematic and atmospheric shoegaze gem blending moody Nick Cave-esque guitars with expressive, haze-filled vocals. I personally loved the strong Nick Cave-esque guitars in the background, almost filling the track with haze and character. It's an incredibly moody offering, with the chorus almost cementing their place in your darker, moodier playlists. To me, it sounds like the perfect kind of song to listen to when you're stuck at home on a dreary rainy day in November, but with expressive lyrics that can help you paint a picture in your head to take your mind away from things. Yulan & Blaise return with their thrilling new single, "Growing Pains"

"Yulan & Blaise for me" is one of the emerging sounds coming out of the Australian music scene, and now the Hobart-based act has revealed a thrilling new cut titled "Growing Pains". ... a hypnotic, gritty underground gem packed with pulsating basslines, brooding vocals, and haunting electronic undertones. Right from the outset it is hypnotic, and I guess it has to be considering that it is just over 2 minutes long, but the bassline is something that will rip your ear off if you have the volume turned up enough. The vocals are moody and brooding, with plenty of gritty textures to have you leaning into the track second by second. Those dark undertones of the track really do come to life in the second half, as there are some haunting electronic tones and even more distorted vocals entering the fold as the track progresses. Another special EP review and this time it is from a band who are from Bedfordshire. They are a Indie Rock band who love to play music that gets the rhythm inside of you and blasts it with lashings of rock! I do hope they get noticed because the world deserves bands like these guys. Hanging around and lurking in the deep belly of Bedfordshire they deserve to be noticed and would do them a whole load of good, you will soon realise in this review why they are a brilliant band! Retrogress: The opening track and it entices you into their sound straight away with a brilliant riff, a tight bass and superb drumming. The vocals kick in and it only just gets better! A slow start perhaps but the momentum builds and when the chorus comes you know it is going to be a cracking one. It hits, yup, I was right, the singer cries out "Hold me, you can't deny this stuff is real", but oh it is. Adam Wedd reveals his emotive new single, "Soar"

Coming out of the London scene is artist Adam Wedd, and the singer-songwriter is back with a new, heartfelt track, "Soar". Opening up with some glittering orchestral pop with piano keys shining high, it is quite the introduction to one of Adam's most heartfelt tracks to date. ... a deeply moving and cinematic orchestral-pop tribute, rich with soaring vocals, tender piano, and heartbreaking beauty. Written in memory of his late friend Peter Holmes, this cinematic track has some beautiful arrangements and plenty of emotion behind it. Interwoven into the lyrics is Adam showcasing his stunning vocal tones, and you can easily hear him capturing those moments about his long-lost friend. There's something so beautiful and equally heartbreaking about this song. As you move into the latter third of the song, you can really hear how cinematic it becomes, with a decent amount of strings laced on top of a simplistic piano sound and Adam's soaring, angelic vocals, almost cares...

DJ Cards drops the electronic anthem, "Sideways"

Hailing from Philadelphia, producer DJ Cards delivers an electric anthem with his high-energy EDM track, "Sideways". The track is the sort of song that sounds like it deserves to fill the floors of every nightclub for miles around. ... an electric, high-energy EDM banger packed with euphoric 2010s dance-pop nostalgia, driving rhythms, and dynamic synth builds. There's a fantastic euphoric dance-pop core to the song, with a somewhat nostalgic tone that gave me flashbacks to the 2010s, when I'd find myself at venues until the early hours of Saturday morning. It's got such a driving rhythm, and the production on this is rather delightful. Even though it's less than 3 minutes long, it's got so much replayability. I came back to this track a few times after listening to it for the first go-around, and I just love how the swooshing synth sounds come in and out of the song—how it builds and builds and breaks. Coming back with a new track is Stockholm artist Fernando's Eyes. The new single from the act sees them return with "Room On Fire". ... a captivating post-punk revival track blending atmospheric dream pop, chunky basslines, sharp guitar hooks, and a atmospheric touch of saxophone. It's a stunningly delightful track with an intro that lasts a minute or so before the vocals come in. When those vocals do come in, it's on the darker side, with it sounding very post-punky, mixed with an undertone of dream pop and shoegaze. It's got quite a chunky bassline to it, and if you had it turned up to 10, then you'll be vibrating for minutes after this is finished.
