Danny Suede shares the sun-kissed new tune, "shadows on the pavement"

Bursting out from Spokane, United States, is Danny Suede, who has recently released his new track titled "shadows on the pavement". The new offering from the American singer-songwriter has already shot to the top of his most popular songs on Spotify, and I can easily tell why from the very first minute. ... a shimmering, uplifting slice of bedroom pop that feels made for sunny days. The opening sequence of the song is a delicate balance of acoustic guitar mixed with his serene vocals and a dash of electronic pulses just to get you all warmed up. For me, the fusion of bedroom pop and alternative pop sounds reminded me of an early Ed Sheeran as he was about to take over the British music scene. With that in mind, it sounds like Danny is also going in that direction. Paul Jarmer unveils his new effort, "Stay"

Based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota is alternative rock artist Paul Jarmer Anthony. The singer-songwriter has returned with his brand-new single, "Stay". The track has its roots in the 1990s, with the jangling guitar sounds echoing that of the scene all those years ago. ... a deeply emotional alt-rock single blending 90s jangle-guitar nostalgia and grunge-infused vocals. Vocally, it's somewhat grunge, but whilst laced upon this more upbeat indie rock-styled instrumentation, it really has two core layers to it. Both have certainly perked my ears up when I heard this for the first time. Paul channels the grief of losing his mother alongside the catharsis of promised sobriety; you can really hear the emotions of two things going on here. This could quite easily be one of his biggest songs to date. Even though he's only released a quartet of singles now, I feel like this would be one of those tracks that he'll be performing at his live shows for decades to come. ...

The Boldon Colliery-based singer-songwriter, Johnny Pears, is back and he is back with a brand new tune called "Pin Cushion". ... a euphoric, festival-ready anthem blending scorched guitars, nostalgic new-wave energy, and scuzzy punk revival. Right from the get-go, the intro alone is going to be hitting you with a rush of scorched guitars. After that, when the track unravels in front of you, you have this absolutely epic track that sounds like it was destined for the big stages of Reading and Leeds Festival. It's got that new wave energy that reminds you of the likes of The Smiths in places, with a lot more newer and modern sounds that the likes of Blossoms are famous for, but with a pinch of scuzzy punk revival about it. It's an absolutely euphoric track with lots of nostalgic moments dotted left, right, and centre. The pacing is awesome, and even though the track is 3.5 minutes long, you'll feel very well acquainted with Johnny by the time it's finished. Con...

The Meir, a rising Dutch alternative band out of Breda, makes an unforgettable entrance with their debut single, "Free". The initial track from this outfit is an absolutely sensational one, with the initial play reminding me a lot of Keane and also Elbow. ... an emotionally charged debut anthem bursting with atmospheric guitar hooks, soaring Keane-inspired vocals, and a massive chorus. Vocally, this is incredibly emotive, with plenty of atmosphere and textures flowing throughout, with solid guitar hooks that will certainly lure you into the song with every second that goes by. I honestly adored the chorus. It was fantastic, with some charging vocals that will have you singing along in no time. Considering this is their debut single, at least according to Spotify, I can see this band doing rather well in their local scene. Hailing from Lewisham in South London, England, 2nd Magpie Project has today delivered an expansive and dreamy new single titled "Divine Intervention." If you like your shoegazy sounds mixed with strong and powerful vocals, then this is something that you'll love from the first play. ... a cinematic and atmospheric shoegaze gem blending moody Nick Cave-esque guitars with expressive, haze-filled vocals. I personally loved the strong Nick Cave-esque guitars in the background, almost filling the track with haze and character. It's an incredibly moody offering, with the chorus almost cementing their place in your darker, moodier playlists. To me, it sounds like the perfect kind of song to listen to when you're stuck at home on a dreary rainy day in November, but with expressive lyrics that can help you paint a picture in your head to take your mind away from things. Martin Kuiper drops his strong new album, "Prison Of Modesty"

Hailing from Ruurlo, Netherlands, singer-songwriter Martin Kuiper delivers a captivating blend of '90s alt-rock and grunge on his album "Prison Of Modesty".We previously had Martin on our website before, but today is an exciting day as this sees his new album finally land. The album is comprised of 10 tracks, of which seven were previously released. We are going to focus on some of the tracks that are new here—or at least new to us. I can't help but praise the opening track, "Still I Promise", as this is a fantastic gateway song to his sound, with plenty of Beach Boys-styled backing vocals laced upon a rather indie-rock-driven track, almost beckoning you into the 10-track album. 2022 saw Ryan Thomas Smelle release his debut album "In The Homestretch" to great success, and the latest single to be given the single treatment is track 13 - lucky for some - "Shame Shame". Coming at a perfect two minutes flat the single is wrapped with warmth, as you might be able to tell from his vocal tones. In-fact it's Ryan's vocals that are the prominent feature here as you can hear the tenderness in his voice, with a slight quiver to give it that raw and emotive feel. "Shame Shame" is honest, emotive and raw - just stunning. Instrumentally it's rather simple, clean and crisp acoustic guitars helps to push the folk tones home and will ultimately leaving you wanting more. Coming out of the vibrant music scene down in London is Father Chocolate, and their new track "Villains" has recently been released. It sounds just as vibrant as the scene they are in. It is a hauntingly gorgeous track with plenty of atmosphere, laced with moody guitar-driven sounds that reminisce echoes of surf and dream pop alike. ... a hauntingly atmospheric slow jam blending moody surf guitars, dreamy textures, and smooth, sensual charm. This, to me, sounds like one of those absolute underground gems that you'd find on SoundCloud back in the early 2010s. It's got so much charm about it that I instantly headed to their main Spotify page to line up a few of their previous songs. By the halfway point of this song I knew I was in for the long haul. Being based out of London sometimes has its perks, and sometimes it has its faults, but for Irina Imme it sounds like she has got the scene in her hands based on this single. ... a raw, high-octane indie rock thrill that proves Irina Imme is a force to be reckoned with. The new track is raw and electrifying, with her vocals once again showcasing why she is a force to be reckoned with in the capital. With the single "Easy" being her second release of the year, following her EP titled "Y2K", this new offering sounds like she has turned a corner, and those rock fans who are looking for a bold new track by a female vocalist are probably going to be dying for something like this. Based out of Colorado Springs is the new collective Aurora Bloom, and the outfit have recently dropped their expansive debut single, "Breathless". It's a very euphoric and intimate single with a fantastic amount of dance-pop elements that sound almost like they were written for the big stages of Eurovision. ... an exhilarating, euphoric debut packed with infectious dance-pop synth hooks and stadium-ready energy. With influences from the likes of CHVRCHES, there is no denying that this song was written to be danced to. With a fantastic backing track for the vocals to be laid upon, the single "Breathless" is certainly breathless. It will take you on a ride and you will never want to let go. The one thing for me that's a bit annoying is that this is their debut single, so I am now hooked on their sound and I can't wait for more to drop.
