Danny Suede shares the sun-kissed new tune, "shadows on the pavement"

Bursting out from Spokane, United States, is Danny Suede, who has recently released his new track titled "shadows on the pavement". The new offering from the American singer-songwriter has already shot to the top of his most popular songs on Spotify, and I can easily tell why from the very first minute. ... a shimmering, uplifting slice of bedroom pop that feels made for sunny days. The opening sequence of the song is a delicate balance of acoustic guitar mixed with his serene vocals and a dash of electronic pulses just to get you all warmed up. For me, the fusion of bedroom pop and alternative pop sounds reminded me of an early Ed Sheeran as he was about to take over the British music scene. With that in mind, it sounds like Danny is also going in that direction. Ryan Thomas Smelle releases new single, "Shame Shame"

2022 saw Ryan Thomas Smelle release his debut album "In The Homestretch" to great success, and the latest single to be given the single treatment is track 13 - lucky for some - "Shame Shame". Coming at a perfect two minutes flat the single is wrapped with warmth, as you might be able to tell from his vocal tones. In-fact it's Ryan's vocals that are the prominent feature here as you can hear the tenderness in his voice, with a slight quiver to give it that raw and emotive feel. "Shame Shame" is honest, emotive and raw - just stunning. Instrumentally it's rather simple, clean and crisp acoustic guitars helps to push the folk tones home and will ultimately leaving you wanting more. Hailing from Lewisham in South London, England, 2nd Magpie Project has today delivered an expansive and dreamy new single titled "Divine Intervention." If you like your shoegazy sounds mixed with strong and powerful vocals, then this is something that you'll love from the first play. ... a cinematic and atmospheric shoegaze gem blending moody Nick Cave-esque guitars with expressive, haze-filled vocals. I personally loved the strong Nick Cave-esque guitars in the background, almost filling the track with haze and character. It's an incredibly moody offering, with the chorus almost cementing their place in your darker, moodier playlists. To me, it sounds like the perfect kind of song to listen to when you're stuck at home on a dreary rainy day in November, but with expressive lyrics that can help you paint a picture in your head to take your mind away from things. "Yulan & Blaise for me" is one of the emerging sounds coming out of the Australian music scene, and now the Hobart-based act has revealed a thrilling new cut titled "Growing Pains". ... a hypnotic, gritty underground gem packed with pulsating basslines, brooding vocals, and haunting electronic undertones. Right from the outset it is hypnotic, and I guess it has to be considering that it is just over 2 minutes long, but the bassline is something that will rip your ear off if you have the volume turned up enough. The vocals are moody and brooding, with plenty of gritty textures to have you leaning into the track second by second. Those dark undertones of the track really do come to life in the second half, as there are some haunting electronic tones and even more distorted vocals entering the fold as the track progresses. EP Review... Kilto Take - Kilto Take EP

Another special EP review and this time it is from a band who are from Bedfordshire. They are a Indie Rock band who love to play music that gets the rhythm inside of you and blasts it with lashings of rock! I do hope they get noticed because the world deserves bands like these guys. Hanging around and lurking in the deep belly of Bedfordshire they deserve to be noticed and would do them a whole load of good, you will soon realise in this review why they are a brilliant band! Retrogress: The opening track and it entices you into their sound straight away with a brilliant riff, a tight bass and superb drumming. The vocals kick in and it only just gets better! A slow start perhaps but the momentum builds and when the chorus comes you know it is going to be a cracking one. It hits, yup, I was right, the singer cries out "Hold me, you can't deny this stuff is real", but oh it is. The Meir unveil their debut single, "Free"

The Meir, a rising Dutch alternative band out of Breda, makes an unforgettable entrance with their debut single, "Free". The initial track from this outfit is an absolutely sensational one, with the initial play reminding me a lot of Keane and also Elbow. ... an emotionally charged debut anthem bursting with atmospheric guitar hooks, soaring Keane-inspired vocals, and a massive chorus. Vocally, this is incredibly emotive, with plenty of atmosphere and textures flowing throughout, with solid guitar hooks that will certainly lure you into the song with every second that goes by. I honestly adored the chorus. It was fantastic, with some charging vocals that will have you singing along in no time. Considering this is their debut single, at least according to Spotify, I can see this band doing rather well in their local scene. Martin Kuiper drops his strong new album, "Prison Of Modesty"

Hailing from Ruurlo, Netherlands, singer-songwriter Martin Kuiper delivers a captivating blend of '90s alt-rock and grunge on his album "Prison Of Modesty".We previously had Martin on our website before, but today is an exciting day as this sees his new album finally land. The album is comprised of 10 tracks, of which seven were previously released. We are going to focus on some of the tracks that are new here—or at least new to us. I can't help but praise the opening track, "Still I Promise", as this is a fantastic gateway song to his sound, with plenty of Beach Boys-styled backing vocals laced upon a rather indie-rock-driven track, almost beckoning you into the 10-track album. The Boldon Colliery-based singer-songwriter, Johnny Pears, is back and he is back with a brand new tune called "Pin Cushion". ... a euphoric, festival-ready anthem blending scorched guitars, nostalgic new-wave energy, and scuzzy punk revival. Right from the get-go, the intro alone is going to be hitting you with a rush of scorched guitars. After that, when the track unravels in front of you, you have this absolutely epic track that sounds like it was destined for the big stages of Reading and Leeds Festival. It's got that new wave energy that reminds you of the likes of The Smiths in places, with a lot more newer and modern sounds that the likes of Blossoms are famous for, but with a pinch of scuzzy punk revival about it. It's an absolutely euphoric track with lots of nostalgic moments dotted left, right, and centre. Based out of Forest Knolls is American singer-songwriter Prem Byrne, and his new single here in America has recently been released. ... a warm, soulful, and delightful slice of stripped-back acoustic rock laced with clean Americana charm. The song is his seventh of the year and is a very whimsical blend of acoustic rock mixed with some soulful moments that really bring an absolutely stunning warmth to your ears when you listen to it for the first time. The intro is absolutely delightful, and as soon as his vocals come in you will be melting within no time.It's a rather stripped-back track with finger-picking guitar moments, clean Americana tones, and some simplistic percussion, all balanced off with his aforementioned brilliant voice. Firefly Search Party shares their upbeat new single, "Sing Me A Song"

Based out of Singapore, Firefly Search Party have recently revealed their upbeat and sprightly new single, "Sing Me a Song". ... a sprightly, joyful indie folk-pop gem filled with catchy dual-vocal harmonies and infectious rhythms.
